As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will engage with high-risk infants and their families, ensuring active participation in care processes. This role leverages your nursing skills and problem-solving abilities while adhering to high standards of practice. You will manage shifting patient needs and prioritize care procedures, fostering a supportive and safe organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer direct nursing care to neonates in the NICU
• Promote family engagement in care decisions
• Make timely, informed decisions in dynamic situations
• Maintain a safe care environment for all
• Work closely within an interprofessional healthcare team
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing education
• Licensed or eligible to register with CLPNA
• Current BCLS-HCP certification is essential
• Proficient computer skills and technical nursing competencies
• Flexibility for shift work and handling job demands
