Maternal Child Registered Nurse

This role in Unit 25 seeks passionate RNs who prioritize family-centered care. With a focus on postpartum and newborn assessment, you'll play a vital role in supporting new families. The position also includes classroom-based orientation and buddy shifts to foster your learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing services to postpartum patients and newborns

• Assess and manage patient care in a family-centered manner

• Educate families on parenting and breastfeeding

• Utilize critical thinking in nursing processes and decision-making

• Advocate for patient needs and safety

Requirements:

• Accredited nursing education program completion

• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Competence in technical nursing skills

• Willing to learn and meet job demands
