Enhance educational quality at the Red Deer Regional Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Educator in the NICU. Lead training and programs that support nursing staff and clinical excellence.
This full-time Instructor role focuses on collaboration within a dedicated leadership team. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you'll spearhead the coordination and evaluation of educational activities while ensuring compliance with legislation and quality initiatives. Your expertise in clinical practice will play a pivotal role in nurturing nursing development and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive educational programs for nursing staff
• Collaborate with management on educational standards
• Evaluate educational activities for continuous improvement
• Engage with multi-disciplinary teams for effective training
• Support the development of clinical practice support materials
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Minimum 2 years NICU nursing experience
• Current BCLS-HCP certification required
• Knowledge of adult learning principles
• Experience with educational program development
