In this full-time role, you will leverage advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across their lifespan. As a vital team member, you will work closely with Home Care staff, physicians, and specialists to ensure optimal program delivery. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and providing mentorship to new NPs are key aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive health services to diverse patient populations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care coordination
• Conduct assessments and interpret diagnostic tests
• Lead nursing research initiatives and quality programs
• Mentor and educate new Nurse Practitioners and healthcare providers
Requirements:
• Master's degree from an approved Nurse Practitioner program
• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Minimum 3 years of clinical NP experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Connect Care
