Clinical Nursing Educator Role

Position: Clinical Nursing Educator Role at RDP
Become a Clinical Nursing Instructor (Part-Time) at Red Deer Polytechnic. This role involves delivering high-quality education to nursing students in clinical settings from September 2026 to April 2027.

We are accepting applications for experienced Registered Nurses to join our Clinical Nursing Instructor Pool. This position requires teaching in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program while assessing and mentoring students in essential nursing skills. The role includes facilitating effective learning environments and making on-site visits to both urban and rural clinical locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and guide nursing students in clinical practice

• Assess student performance and provide meaningful evaluation

• Identify additional training needs for students

• Establish a conducive learning atmosphere

• Participate in travel for clinical instruction

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Nursing required

• Active RN registration with CRNA necessary

• Basic Life Support certification or willingness to obtain

• Completion of a Criminal Record Check is required

• Teaching experience preferred but not mandatory
