Position: Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner Role
Become an integral part of the Gastroenterology team as a Nurse Practitioner at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. This role emphasizes comprehensive patient care in various settings.

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal health needs. Your contributions will extend beyond direct patient care to include leadership in quality improvement and program growth. This position is essential in providing support to existing Nurse Practitioners and enhancing GI services for acute and chronic conditions, reflecting your commitment to patient health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a full spectrum of health services for GI patients

• Diagnose and prescribe treatment using advanced clinical skills

• Lead and participate in program development for GI services

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal care delivery

• Oversee and support on-call GI services and patient management

Requirements:

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Active registration as a Nurse Practitioner with CRNA

• Hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider certification

• Maintain accurate registration on CARNA's NP Roster

• GI healthcare experience is advantageous
