Assistant Director of Care RN LPN

Lead resident-centered care at Royal Oak Village in Lacombe as an Assistant Director of Care, supervising LPNs and Healthcare Aides on-site.

Christenson Communities seeks an Assistant Director of Care for continuing care. This full-time position supports nursing services through clinical oversight, staff coaching, quality reviews, and interdisciplinary planning. The successful candidate maintains Alberta RN or LPN registration and brings continuing-care experience.

• Supervise, guide, and support LPNs and Healthcare Aides
• Support nursing service planning and evaluation
• Participate in physician and interdisciplinary care rounds
• Review medication records, carts, charts, and admissions
• Respond to resident and family care concerns

• Current Alberta RN or LPN registration in good standing
• Three to five years of continuing-care clinical experience
• Leadership, supervisory, or charge nurse experience preferred
• Knowledge of nursing standards and infection prevention
• Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
