Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of college grounds and working on a variety of maintenance projects. The incumbent will be expected to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, operate tools and equipment and contribute to a positive and safe work environment at all times.

Job Duties
Landscaper duties include:
Maintaining college groundsWorking both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditionsMowing lawns, planting, weeding, watering and pruning plants as directedControlling insects and disease as directedPicking up litterContributing to a positive and safe work environment at all timesInstalling items with power toolsPainting and completing other minor maintenance projects as requestedRequired Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's licenseStrong work ethic, attendance record and productivity in an independent work environment (demonstrated through previous employment or volunteer experience)Strong customer service, teamwork and communication skillsAbility to perform basic labouring activities, including heavy lifting and exert frequent physical effortPreferred Qualifications
Ride-on mower experience is an assetExperience with power tools, gas powered mowers, tiller, electric clippers, edgers and weed trims is preferred
