Position SummaryThis is not a checkbox role. Quality Control at Eagle Builders is about holding the standard, every time.
We are looking for someone who is confident, direct, and willing to step in when something isn’t right, while still building strong working relationships across the floor.
Responsibilities- Perform testing on raw materials, in-process components, and finished product
- Monitor and document concrete performance (temperature, slump, air content, strength, etc.)
- Inspect formwork, reinforcing steel, and concrete placement for accuracy
- Complete quality checks before and after casting to ensure standards are met
- Identify issues early and address them directly with crews and supervisors
- Hold others accountable to quality standards and ensure issues are corrected
- Support and validate inspections, testing methods, and production processes
- Maintain accurate records and follow company policies and procedures
- Assertive and confident – willing to speak up, even when it’s uncomfortable
- Firm but fair – able to take an authoritative approach when needed
- Persuasive communicator – can influence and gain buy-in, not just give direction
- Personable and respected – builds trust while holding a high standard
- Action-oriented – takes ownership and follows issues through to resolution
- Detail-focused – notices the small things that impact overall quality
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work 44 hours per week, including overtime as required
- Available Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays (shift starting at 4 PM)
- Physically able to perform demanding work for extended periods
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and measurements
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Previous quality control / assurance experience
- Experience in precast concrete
- PCI or CCIL certifications
- Knowledge of curing, vibrations, and pre-stress procedures
