About the Company:

Swift Innovations is a research-based, GMP, ISO, and Ecocert COSMOS‑certified contract cosmetic manufacturer based in Ponoka, Alberta. We develop and manufacture innovative skincare, haircare, and personal care products while continuing to scale Refresh Botanicals, our certified organic skincare brand distributed across Canadian retail channels.

We are seeking an experienced Grant Writer to identify and secure Alberta provincial and federal funding opportunities that support research, innovation, manufacturing expansion, commercialization, and business growth. The successful candidate will have strong experience working with startups and growth‑stage companies, along with a proven track record of preparing successful grant applications.

• Research relevant provincial and federal grant programs.
• Assess funding eligibility and recommend priority opportunities.
• Prepare clear, persuasive, and compliant grant applications.
• Coordinate supporting information, budgets, timelines, and project plans.
• Track Final date to receive applicationss, reporting requirements, and follow-up activities.
• Work closely with management and technical teams to translate business and R&D activities into strong funding proposals.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of current and upcoming funding opportunities.

• Minimum 3 years of grant‑writing experience with startups or growth‑stage companies.
• Demonstrated success in securing government or innovation funding.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta and federal grant programs.
• Excellent research, writing, editing, and project‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience with manufacturing, research, technology, cosmetics, or consumer products is considered an asset.

Contract, Part‑Time

Hybrid, with flexibility based on project requirements.

Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and demonstrated funding success.
