Kickstart your career with MNP as a Summer Student in Agronomy Services from May 3 to August 27, 2027, across various regions including Biggar/Rosetown/Plenty, Regina, and Brandon/Winnipeg.
During this summer position, you will engage with our diverse Agronomy team. Responsibilities include field scouting visits, plant stand assessments, and data collection for research trials. You will support experienced Agronomists, relaying critical information gathered from the field, without providing customer guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform field visits for plant health and herbicide efficacy
• Conduct plant stand counts and variable crop assessments
• Collect data for ongoing research trials
• Help organize and attend industry-related crop tours
• Work alongside Agronomists, providing field insights
Requirements:
• Enrolled in post-secondary education;
Agriculture background favored
• Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
