As a Retail Store Tailor, you will support each customer’s experience by creating garments that look attractive, fit well, and feel right. You will greet customers, answer questions, recommend wardrobe ensembles, and complete basic and advanced alterations. The position also involves marking, altering, pressing, sizing, and maintaining the tailor shop.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers and respond to special requests
- Mark, alter, and press selected garments
- Ensure garments fit customers properly
- Suggest new wardrobe ensembles
- Keep the tailor shop clean and organized
- Formal tailoring training preferred
- Menswear tailoring experience highly preferred
- Proficiency in basic and advanced menswear alterations
- Knowledge of various sewing equipment
- Strong communication and technical skills
