Front Store Retail Manager

Lead front store operations at Shoppers Drug Mart in Red Deer, using retail management and financial analysis to achieve store objectives. This full-time role oversees all departments except Pharmacy.

The Front Store Manager manages overall front store performance, including cosmetics, customer service, processes, procedures, and financial resources. You will maintain Store Standards, schedule labour through Work Force Management, manage staffing, and support business performance. The role also includes hiring, coaching, reviews, wage administration, and staff development.

• Maintain Store Standards across front store areas and backroom
• Manage labour scheduling through Work Force Management
• Ensure adequate staffing for effective business operations
• Hire, coach, and review staff excluding Pharmacy
• Analyze financial reports and address performance discrepancies

• Minimum five years of previous retail management experience
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
• Effective organization, planning, and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize changing initiatives and control expenses
