Become a vital part of The Home Depot team as a Sales Associate. Your knowledge and customer engagement will help guide shoppers to their ideal solutions.
As a Sales Associate, your primary focus will be on customer satisfaction and driving sales. You'll be responsible for greeting customers, assessing their project needs, and recommending appropriate products and services. By maintaining extensive knowledge of products in your department and being proactive in customer interaction, you'll enhance the shopping experience and facilitate successful project completions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage customers using Home Depot's GET Model
• Escort customers through the store to relevant merchandise
• Promote services, including the Pro Desk and Tool Rentals
• Educate shoppers on full project options and related items
• Conduct regular stock maintenance for displays and products
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of retail or trade experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle physical aspects of the job
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new product knowledge
