Experienced Industrial Security Guard

Join Backwoods Security Services as an experienced Industrial Security Guard at a facility near Red Deer, Alberta. This full-time role includes 12-hour shifts with a 4-on, 4-off schedule.

Backwoods Security Services Ltd., an Indigenous-owned company, offers professional security services tailored for various industries. We are looking for an Industrial Security Guard with at least one year of experience in security. You will ensure a safe environment for employees, contractors, and visitors through active surveillance, incident response, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security patrols inside and outside the facility

• Monitor CCTV and security systems vigilantly

• Control site access and verify authorized personnel

• Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents

• Complete Daily Occurrence Reports and Incident Reports

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Security Services Worker License

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial security experience

• Standard First Aid with CPR certification

• Reliable transportation to site

• Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset
