Position: Community Worker in Eeyou Istchee

This role requires a diploma in social work, social service, or related specialization, with a focus on community needs and Mental Health awareness. Key Responsibilities:

• Identify community needs and implement programs accordingly

• Act as a resource for community groups and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Diploma in social work or a related field

• Fluency in Cree and English;
French is a plus

• Strong understanding of Mental Health and social issues

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred

• Sensitive to addiction and crisis intervention
