Part-Time Recreation Coordinator

Your role will focus on delivering recreational programs for individuals with disabilities, aiding caregiver support groups.
This 8-week contract requires candidates aged 18-30 who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents. As a Recreation Coordinator, you will plan activities promoting FASD awareness and assist adults with developmental disabilities in their daily needs.
Your role will also include administrative tasks and collaboration with the agency team to ensure program success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate recreation programs for children and adults
• Promote Agency's mission at community events
• Attend staff meetings and engage in development training
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing and document management
• Participate in program activities across various locations
Requirements:
• High school diploma required
• Experience with developmental disabilities is an asset
• Skills in problem-solving and team collaboration
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle needed
• Satisfactory Security Checks within last six months
