Aspire Child Development Centre in Red Deer, Alberta, seeks a Provisional Psychologist dedicated to supporting neurodivergent children through consultation and assessment. This flexible part-time role allows for impactful work with diverse populations.
Working with children aged 2-18 years, you will help enhance their communication development while engaging closely with families and school teams. This position combines variety and clinical support, encouraging professional growth and collaboration, with specific focus on individual program planning and implementation. Aspire is committed to providing a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and provide interventions for neurodivergent children
• Strengthen collaborations with parents and educational teams
• Develop tailored program plans to aid child development
• Complete assessments and document findings
• Provide therapy sessions when recommended
Requirements:
• Must be a provisional psychologist in Alberta
• Possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle
• Experience with neurodivergent children; mentorship available
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to adapt within a dynamic setting
