Position: Parent Consultant with Taproot Services
Enhance family dynamics as a Parent Consultant with Taproot Community Support Services, engaging with families in Red Deer. This full-time role focuses on parent education and relationship transformation.

You'll work closely with families under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist, integrating a developmental approach to strengthen parent-child relationships. This opportunity allows you to promote effective communication and daily living skills within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored family support for diverse needs

• Establish effective service plan goals

• Conduct evening and weekend home visits as needed

• Foster trust and communication skills among families

• Prepare detailed reports as required by the program

Requirements:

• Degree in Child and Youth Care or related fields

• At least three years of experience with families

• Successful criminal record and intervention checks

• First Aid/CPR certification completed

• Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
