The City of Warman invites applications for the full-time position of Transportation Operator Level I in our Public Works department. Under direct supervision of the Transportation Lead Hand, the Transportation Operator Level I is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of city streets, sidewalks, ditches, and related water and wastewater responsibilities.

• High school education plus three to five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications needed to run all equipment at Level I (skid steer, gravel truck, garbage truck, genie/bucket truck, and backhoe) and to take additional courses as needed.
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License with clean abstract.
• Mechanically inclined with aptitude for operating motorized mechanical equipment.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods of time under various weather conditions.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.
