The Yard Shipper/Receiver reports to the Yard Manager and plays a crucial role in inventory control and merchandise handling this temporary position, you will efficiently receive products, accurately ship outgoing orders, and maintain a safe and organized yard. Your experience with warehouse operations and forklift use is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks daily
• Operate materials handling equipment safely
• Conduct accurate cycle counts and inventory checks
• Load and unload trucks per UFA guidelines
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and operational standards
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma with 1-2 years relevant experience
• Previous yard and forklift operation experience
• Capable of lifting up to 25 kg
• Basic computer skills for POS training
• Good verbal and written communication skills
