Class 1 Delivery Driver

Join Central Prairie Cartage as a Class 1 City Pick-Up & Delivery Driver in Red Deer County. This full-time position involves completing deliveries while managing cargo safely and efficiently.

Seeking a responsible City P&D Driver who will work Monday to Friday starting at 7:00 am. Candidates must hold a valid Class 1 license and possess 2-5 years of relevant driving experience. Key tasks include safe operation of the vehicle, loading and unloading goods, and adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Navigate and complete deliveries in Red Deer area

• Assist with loading/unloading using pallet jacks and forklifts

• Keep accurate daily logs in compliance with regulations

• Perform vehicle inspections each day before driving

• Manually lift items of up to 50 lbs when needed

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 operator’s license required

• 2-5 years driving experience necessary

• Familiarity with freight industry and safety compliance

• Strong communication skills are essential

• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
