As an Assistant Trainmaster, you will oversee traffic flow within your designated road territory and yard-terminal.
Your role demands the coordination of train movements, compliance with operational plans, and input on safety and productivity metrics. Engage actively with team members to promote safety and operational efficiency while taking on various leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise train movements within yard and mainline
• Standardize processes related to operating plans
• Lead safety measures and compliance discussions
• Operate trains occasionally as required
• Assist in crew transportation for scheduled assignments
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous railway experience as conductor or engineer
• Valid driver's license
• Availability for various shifts including nights and weekends
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
