COILED TUBING OPERATOR – RED DEER (RDC)The Coiled Tubing Operator is responsible for thesafe operation of equipment during the hours of their shift.
Responsibilities:- Ensure that Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is the priority in all activities
- Operate various large duty trucks over outdoor terrain and through all weather conditions
- Participates in the investigation of incidents
- Performpre-and post trip inspections and accurately fill out all required forms
- Attendspre-job safety meetings on location
- Establishes and maintains effective communication with colleagues
- Inspect sand properly configures all equipment
- Perform rig-up (assembly) and rig out (disassembly) of all equipment for travel
- Perform maintenance operations to units and auxiliary equipment
- Confers with supervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies
- Ensureall Workplace Safety, Environmental and National Safety Code Policies and Regulation are followed
Skills:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence is required
- Pressure pumping experience is preferred
- High school diploma is an asset
- Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
- Physically demanding, heavy lifting required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
