Yard Shipper Receiver at UFA

Location: Ponoka

Join UFA as a Yard Shipper Receiver and ensure efficient product handling at our designated location. You'll be responsible for shipping, receiving, and maintaining inventory effectively.

In this role, you report to the Yard Manager and participate in all shipping and receiving activities. Key tasks include accurate inventory control, operating material handling equipment, and adhering to UFA's customer service standards. You will assist in maintaining a safe environment while ensuring efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in shipping, receiving, and inventory functions

• Perform inventory maintenance and cycle counts

• Operate material handling equipment and assist with maintenance

• Load and unload trucks per UFA procedures

• Maintain yard/warehouse appearance according to safety regulations

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma or 1-2 years related experience

• Forklift and warehouse experience required

• Capable of lifting up to 25 kg

• Basic computer skills; cashier experience a plus

• Must keep certifications current, including WHMIS and TDG
