Warehouse Operator

Warehouse Operator - Red Deer, AB

Reporting to the Supervisor, Warehouse, the Warehouse Operator will focus on maintaining physical inventory levels and product requirements within the Warehouse Department.

The Warehouse Operator will be a member of the Warehouse Department responsible for the distribution and storage of materials, supplies, and other products for Calfrac.

• Load and unload materials, supplies or products with material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, skid steers) and/or by hand (e.g. regularly load chemical vans for field operations)
• Manage spill control of materials
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse facility for materials in compliance with provincial and federal regulations
• Assist Fracturing, Coiled Tubing, and Maintenance Departments as needed

• Follow and enforce safe work procedures, codes, and regulations
• Energetic self‑starter, able to work in a dynamic environment
• Able to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced dynamic environment
• Proven maturity to effectively handle and prioritize competing demands with short deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment with exposure to outdoor weather conditions
• Able to frequently work on call hours outside of regularly scheduled shift to meet operational needs
• This position is considered a Safety Sensitive Position and may require additional screening

• Eight (8) days on, Six (6) days off

• 1 year experience in a warehouse/logistics environment preferred
• Inventory management experience
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
