In this supportive role reporting to the Shop Foreman, you will manage tasks like shipping and receiving, pulling materials from stock, and restocking inventory as needed. Your attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness will contribute to a safe and efficient workplace. Working part of a team, you’ll also have the opportunity to operate equipment like forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct general warehouse functions efficiently
• Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving
• Pull requested materials and manage stock
• Operate fork-lift to facilitate stock movement
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the shop area
Requirements:
• Knowledge of industry practices preferred
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Forklift experience is a must
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license
