Summary of client's description of this opportunityThe Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role supports students' academic, social, and emotional growth through evidence‑based interventions. The SLPA works under the supervision of the on‑campus SLP, collaborates with teachers and families as needed, delivers direct therapy services, and uses Esped for documentation.
Client's required skills & experience- Associate's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology Assisting (accredited program)
- Valid Texas SLPA license
- 12 years of school‑based experience preferred
- Skilled in implementing therapy plans (individual and group) under SLP supervision
- Knowledge of evidence‑based therapy techniques and progress monitoring
- Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral‑health and special education.
