Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Patient Volume:
Approximately 16–17 patients per day
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our outpatient cardiology team serving Waxahachie, TX
. This role focuses on general cardiology in a clinic-based setting and offers a predictable weekday schedule with minimal weekend responsibility.
New graduates are welcome to apply, though prior cardiology experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities- Provide outpatient care for general cardiology patients
- Perform patient evaluations, follow-ups, and ongoing disease management
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Document care plans and coordinate patient services
- Participate in infrequent weekend rounding rotation
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- No call requirements for APPs
- Weekend rounding approximately one weekend every 2–3 months
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NCCPA certified or eligible
- Licensed or eligible for PA licensure in Texas
- Cardiology experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Consistent weekday schedule
- Collaborative, physician-led cardiology practice

EXPERIENCE
- Less than 1 Year of Experience
Certification/License/Registration:
- Basic Life Support (BLS):
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer. - Physician Assistants (PA): Must have a PA license through the state of TX.
