Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to provide operational and clinical leadership for the Day Surgery, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) departments. This leadership role oversees a team of approximately 37 staff members supporting 37 rooms and ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across the perioperative continuum.

The RN Supervisor is responsible for supporting daily operations, staff development, patient throughput, quality outcomes, and departmental performance. This position partners closely with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and a positive work environment. Would also work the floor if needed to cover and fill in.

Supports Day Surgery, PACU, and Pre-Admission Testing services.

Approximately 37 staff members and 37 procedural/recovery rooms.

Day Surgery: 3:1

PACU: 2:1

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Charge Nurse experience.
• Critical Care nursing experience.
• Experience utilizing Epic EMR.
• Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration skills.

• Previous Supervisor or Manager experience.
• Day Surgery experience.
• PACU experience.
• Shift Select scheduling system experience.
• Strong computer and technology skills.
