Job Summary:
Loenbro is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to assist with the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of automated infrastructure control systems on new data center builds.
Job Duties- Follows all site Safety policies/procedures
- Proficient in using P&IDs, schematics, and loop sheets
- Wire PLCs and other various control devices
- Troubleshoot and install VFDs
- Knowledge ofsynchronous motor
- Repairs and calibrates flow, pressure, level, and temperature instrumentation
- Installs or removes field and panel mounted equipment
- Installs and sets pressure, temperature, flow, level switches, and monitoring devices
- Improves and enhances teamwork, and efficiency
- Assist in the training and development of new employees.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous electrical experience, Journeyman’s license preferred
- Ability to read equipment prints and secure information from OEM manuals
- Proficient with measurement tools like voltmeters
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to complete projects safely and in a timely manner
- Ability to work across multiple groups
- Self-starter with a keen ability to multi-task
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions in technically difficult situations
- Ability to understand and use instrument calibration and electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret various drawings such as P&IDs, SWDs, and single line diagrams.
