Job Summary:

Loenbro is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to assist with the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of automated infrastructure control systems on new data center builds.

• Follows all site Safety policies/procedures
• Proficient in using P&IDs, schematics, and loop sheets
• Wire PLCs and other various control devices
• Troubleshoot and install VFDs
• Knowledge ofsynchronous motor
• Repairs and calibrates flow, pressure, level, and temperature instrumentation
• Installs or removes field and panel mounted equipment
• Installs and sets pressure, temperature, flow, level switches, and monitoring devices
• Improves and enhances teamwork, and efficiency
• Assist in the training and development of new employees.
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous electrical experience, Journeyman’s license preferred
• Ability to read equipment prints and secure information from OEM manuals
• Proficient with measurement tools like voltmeters
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to complete projects safely and in a timely manner
• Ability to work across multiple groups
• Self-starter with a keen ability to multi-task
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions in technically difficult situations
• Ability to understand and use instrument calibration and electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret various drawings such as P&IDs, SWDs, and single line diagrams.
