Located in Red Wing, Minnesota, Elektro Assemblies is a leader in the manufacturing of all wire our customers wire needs; from single wire to complex large harnesses. We help customers in a variety of industries including automotive, healthcare, technology, and food equipment, just to name a few.

We are looking for a self-directed ambitious team member that wants to be part of a high performance engineering team, that can utilize their skills to contribute to the growth of the business!
Qualities needed to be successful in this role would include:
- Read specifications and client proposals, conduct research regulations / requirements, and help interpret project documents for engineers.
- Prepare and organize technical drawings or documents, including using CAD and related software for drafting and design.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining Production/ISO audit schedules.
- Maintain and update system records, project files, equipment logs, and inventory lists, ensuring accurate data management.
- Assist with project scheduling, coordination of meetings, and fieldwork, facilitating smooth communication and workflow within the engineering team and those it supports – production, sales, materials and quality.
- Support ISO 9001 document control by maintaining version control, document directories, and controlled record systems.
Additional Responsibilities include:
- Support engineers with cost, budgeting, preparation of contracts and project documentation.
- Own the Engineering Change Order (ECO) cycle: drafting, reviewing, routing, implementing changes across prints, BOMs, specifications, test requirements, and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
- Collaborate with other departments, clients, and outside vendors to resolve project-related issues or questions.
- May perform field inspections and provide basic troubleshooting or calibration for equipment under supervision.
An ideal candidate would include some, if not all of the attributes listed below:
- Two-year degree in an engineering or technical related field.
- In lieu of degree, you must have 3-5 years of related hands on experience in a high volume, repetitive manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Desire for continual improvements
- A life learner.
