Responsible for assessing and handling customers' banking needs. Obtaining and processing customer account information, and transactions while keeping confidentiality. Duties include but are not limited to processing deposits, loan payments, savings withdrawals, check cashing, check orders, savings bonds, recording & processing night and mail deposits, preparing money orders, answering questions in person or on telephone, opening and closing accounts, & assisting customers with safe boxes, online banking issues, & debit card inquiries – Ultimately willing to grow within the institution and willing to learn more.

Reconciling cash drawer periodically while meeting balance requirements. Complies with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions. Maintains customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential.

High school diploma 1 year of Cash Handling experience Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel Excellent customer service/relations Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems Strong organizational skills Self-motivated Great attention to detail
* Prior banking experience is preferred
