Overview
The City of Red Wing is accepting applications to fill one Full-time Patrol Officer position. Lateral Hires Only. The City values its employees and is committed to the well-being of its citizens. The City Council strongly supports its public safety departments.
Specialty assignmentsSpecialty assignments or positions include:
- ERT (swat)
- part-time assistant trainer and a full-time trainer

- predatory offender tracking officer

- violent crime/drug task force
- investigator
- drone pilot
- school resource officer
- K9
We offer a combination of 11 & 12-hour shifts with every other weekend off. Additionally, RWPD provides a competitive benefits package.
