• Communicate and interact with guests to create a welcoming guest experience
• Blend problem solving and decision making to positively impact guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapt to different guest interactions and situations
• Promote and engage around various benefits, offerings and services
• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Assist guests to solve specific needs and answer questions
• Inform guests of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store
• Explain and assist with Target Loyalty programs and sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy and service
• Explain how to use Target App features including Wallet; direct guests to enroll in order pickup, drive up and online ordering
• Process returns following policies and escalate to leadership as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with stocking during open hours
• Operate in a safe manner and comply with safety policies and training
• Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) orders and DU returns with compliance to laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions
• Stand and move around the store; lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance
• Remain mobile for the duration of shift; work in varying temperatures and conditions depending on area
