Overview
Job Title:
PSV Technician
Money:
Circa £40,000 to £44,000 (Over Time)
Location:
Redcar
Hours:
39 hours per week
Shifts:
Early/Lates rotation
A great opportunity for a skilled PSV Technician has come up for a client in the Redcar area.
Role responsibilities- Servicing, maintenance and repairs to DVSA standards
- Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability, MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks
- Day-to-day operations in a large transport depot
- Vehicle inspections
- MOT preparation / Presentation
- Correction of running defects
- Cope with the day-to-day pressures that a normal vehicle workshop brings
Skills & Qualifications
- Possession of a full UK Driving licence is required
- Holding a Commercial Licence would be an advantage; driver training can be provided
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Bus Mechanic / PSV Technician
