Pay: £13.47 per hour / Weekly Pay (every Friday)

Hours: 0–48 hours per week (as per rota)

Shifts: Monday–Sunday, various shift times (rota-based)

Requirement: Must hold a valid SIA Licence

Kingdom Group, a key partner to Tesco, is recruiting for a Retail Security Officer to support a BWS store in Redcar.

We are looking for confident, professional, and reliable individuals to provide a strong and visible security presence.

This is a flexible role where you will help protect customers, colleagues, and store assets while delivering excellent customer service.

• Conducting regular patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Acting as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
• Monitoring premises and responding to incidents and emergencies
• Completing accurate reports and recording observations
• Supporting store management and colleagues as required
• Delivering excellent customer service and assisting customers where needed

• Valid SIA Licence
• Full 5-year checkable work history
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, confident, and reliable approach
• Good attention to detail and sound judgement
• Calm under pressure
• Previous security experience desirable but not essential

• This is a BWS (Beer, Wine & Spirits) store, meaning alcohol sales can only take place when a Security Officer is on site
• Attendance and punctuality must be exceptional – the store relies on you being on time for every shift
• You will be required to provide a full five-year checkable employment history
• You will receive a contract of employment from your employer separately
• Pay is provided weekly (every Friday) via HIVE 360 Payroll Services
• This role is initially on a temporary basis
• There may be opportunity to move onto a permanent contract
• Full flexibility is required due to varying shift times
