Social Worker - Children Care

If so we have an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join one of our dedicated Children In Our Care teams.

Redcar & Cleveland are looking for a confident and experienced Social Worker to manage a case load of looked after children who may be in a variety of settings such as foster care, residential homes or family and friends arrangements.

• Working collaboratively with multi agency partners.
• Supporting families, completing assessments, reviewing and progressing care plans.
• Supporting placements for vulnerable children and young people,
• Putting them, their families and carers at the centre of everything you do

The successful candidate will have:

• A formal qualification in social work.
• Registration with the Social Work England
• Experience of working within a children and families social work setting
• The ability to produce good quality assessments and robust plans
• Working knowledge of relevant legislation
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
