About the Role

Are you looking to launch your career in construction project management
?

We’re seeking an Entry‑Level Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join a fast‑moving substation construction project that’s already underway. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands‑on experience supporting large‑scale infrastructure work and learning from experienced project leaders.

You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Senior Project Administrator to help organize documentation, support field teams, and ensure the project stays on schedule.

What You’ll Do
  • Support day-to-day project coordination and administrative tasks.
  • Review and interpret P6 construction schedules (training provided).
  • Track progress, quantities, and deliverables for reports and updates.
  • Assist with gathering and managing submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Keep project documentation organized in Excel and reporting systems.
  • Communicate with field teams, subcontractors, and office staff.
  • Help keep the project moving forward under tight deadlines.
What We’re Looking For
  • 0–2 years of experience in construction, engineering, or project support (internships count!).
  • Able to read and navigate a P6 schedule — no prior scheduling experience required.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willing to work full‑time from a construction field office (trailer).
  • No substation experience needed — just a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
Why This Role Is a Great Fit
  • Perfect for recent grads or professionals looking to transition into construction management
    .
  • Gain real‑world project exposure on a major utility infrastructure job.
  • Learn directly from senior project leaders in the field.
  • Competitive pay with per diem for non‑local candidates.
