Masonry Laborer

O2 Employment Services is working with a local masonry contractor in Redding, CA to find their next Construction Laborer. This position supports a variety of masonry projects including stone, brick, and block work.

The ideal candidate will have basic construction knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

• $20.00 per hour and up, depending on experience and performance.

• Basic construction knowledge is required.
• Ability to read and use a measuring tape accurately.
• Experience or familiarity with masonry work such as stone, brick, and block is preferred.
• Ability to safely operate or learn equipment such as a wet saw.
• Comfortable working on scaffolding and around active construction sites.
• Ability to lift materials, including bags of mortar.
• Must be reliable, hardworking, and able to follow direction.
• Assist with masonry projects including stone, brick, and block installation.
• Measure and cut materials using a wet saw and other tools.
• Mix and handle mortar and other materials.
• Work on scaffolding while maintaining a safe job site.
• Support the team with general labor duties as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
