Graphics & Signage Technician

O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable Sign and Graphics Company to find their next Designer – Fabricator/Installer. This position is based in Redding, CA.

The ideal candidate will be a creative, detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience in graphic design and fabrication. This is a dynamic position that blends design, production, and installation, working with everything from blueprints to digital prints to support high-quality signage projects from concept through completion.

$20-$30 an hour (Depending on Experience)

• High School Diploma, GED, or Technical School Degree
• 2+ years of graphic design experience
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, and Flexi Pro
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge
• Experience with printing and laminating equipment
• Excellent math, measurement, and organizational skills
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift 10–25 pounds and follow all safety regulations
• Must be able to pass a background check

• Create high-quality digital prints and scaled drawings for signage
• Collaborate with sales and permit teams for presentations and permitting
• Work directly with customers to gather logos and artwork
• Create production‑ready files for routing, printing, and flat cut‑out lettering
• Develop layouts for LED retrofits using LED layout software
• Track and organize all designs using company software and numbering systems
• Oversee vinyl application techs and assist with vinyl cutting and preparation
• Operate printers, laminators, and possibly routers and other machinery
• Conduct site and vehicle surveys when required
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and ensure quality through accurate measurement
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow PPE guidelines
