Neonatology Physician

We are seeking an experienced Locums Neonatology Physician to provide high-level neonatal care ata Level II Trauma Center in Redding, CA. This role involves comprehensive NICUcoverage with 24-hour call responsibilities and management of high-acuitynewborns.

Compensation: $2500 Per Day

Position Details

• Setting: Level II Trauma Center / NICU
• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
• Start: Ongoing coverage needs
• EMR: Cerner Care B

Required Clinical Skills& Procedures

• Ventilatory assistance, including ETT CPAP
• Nasal CPAP >4 hrs, >6 cm H O, or FiO >0.60
• Surfactant administration beyond initialdosing
• Administration of cardiac pressors
• Management of FiO >0.60
• Management of PaCO >50 on two ABGs 1 hourapart
• Peripheral arterial line or central lineplacement
• Chest tube insertion
• Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) management
• Exchange transfusions
• Care of infants
• Care of infants

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine
• Active State Medical License (California preferred)
• BLS, NRP, and DEA required
• Prior NICU experience with high-acuity newborns strongly preferred
