About the Facility  This 266-bed acute care hospital serves as a regional referral center for a six-county area, offering comprehensive emergency, trauma, and specialized medical services to the regional patient population. The facility supports coordinated hematology and oncology care delivery through established clinical protocols and structured workflows. Clinical support staff includes 1 clinic RN, 2 MAs, 2 front office clerks, 1 quality analyst/billing specialist, and 10 infusion RNs.

About the Facility Location  The area surrounding this assignment offers clinicians access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Notable destinations include the Sundial Bridge, a 700-foot pedestrian span over the Sacramento River that also functions as a sundial, and Turtle Bay Exploration Park, which provides access to nature walks and exhibits. Clinicians may also explore hiking trails, attend live theater, and take day trips to nearby destinations such as Lassen Volcanic National Park, located approximately one hour away, and Burney Falls Memorial State Park.

About the Clinician's Workday  Clinicians will provide outpatient hematology and oncology coverage on-site, encompassing diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of hematologic and oncologic conditions in an adult population. MD oversight is required for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services, with MD presence on-site mandatory for all infusion treatments. The Infusion Center delivers Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections, and Therapeutic Phlebotomies.

On August 31, the clinic is closed and coverage is structured as remote call only.
