BKF Engineers is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer with a strong background in Land Development and a passion for delivering technically sound, high-quality projects. This senior-level role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in leading projects from concept to completion. You'll play a key role in shaping project direction, providing strategic input, and guiding teams through complex engineering challenges with clarity and confidence.

• Project Design for Site Development
• Grading and Drainage Plans
• Utility Systems for Water and Sewer
• Report Preparation and Master Planning Studies, preparation of specifications and cost estimates
• Project Management Assistance:
  Budgeting, Schedules, Client Care, Invoicing
• Design Team collaboration and support
• Roadway/Streets final design package – Plan, Profile, Cross Sections
• Roadway Design:
  Streetscape, Green Streets, Bicycle Path Plans
• Knowledge of Federal, State, City and County Standards
• Conceptual Studies and report preparation
• Preparation of Specifications and Quantity Takeoffs/Cost Estimates

• 6+ years of experience in site development, design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, roadways, and public works
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET Accredited Curriculum or equivalent
• Professional Engineering license in the State of California is highly preferred
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery required

Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 20 pounds with accommodations.

Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Travel to other BKF locations and client sites may be required.

• Typical base salary range: $103,000 - $142,000 annualized depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location
