What You’ll Do
- Spearhead planning, design, and construction services for cutting‑edge wastewater projects, from pipelines to pump stations to treatment facilities.
- Lead master plans and technical studies that shape the future of water recovery.
- Mentor rising talent and build lasting client relationships that drive innovation.
- Take charge of strategy, marketing, and contract negotiations to win transformative work.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and tap into Jacobs’ powerhouse network of technical experts.

Here’s what you’ll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure from the State of California or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Demonstrated understanding of wastewater collection and conveyance systems, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated self‑starter.
- Project management experience for wastewater utility projects, along with related master planning, design, and project development experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and win work.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- 10+ years of experience.
- Strong network with Northern California municipalities and exceptional client‑facing skills.
- Enthusiasm for mentoring and inspiring collaboration across teams.
