We’re seeking a Highway/Bridge Practice Leader to join our team based out of Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose or Oakland, California, who can apply their experience in the Highway/Bridge industry to today’s challenges.
You will work in collaboration with our California Market Growth Director and Director of Operations to develop and implement a Highway/Bridge strategy for California, including building a team of engineers and planners to deliver our client’s most challenging projects and to foster growth of our California team.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a Highway/Bridge strategy for California, collaborating with market growth and operations directors.
- Build and lead a team of Highway/Bridge engineers and planners to deliver challenging projects.
- Drive growth of the Transportation practice to advance the business unit’s strategic goals.
- Understand unique market trends and collaborate to create technical differentiation.
- Manage the largest and most complicated projects in planning, design, and construction services.
- Mentor junior staff, form relationships with clients, pursue new work, and lead marketing, strategy development, positioning, procurement, and contract negotiation.
- Lead multidisciplinary planning and design teams to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate with National Market Solution leaders, California Sales leaders, and delivery leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Licensure from the State of California in a transportation related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of transportation project implementation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated self‑starter.
- Project management experience for Highway/Bridge projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and win work.
- At least 15 years of experience.
- Strong network with local transportation agencies.

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
