Maas Energy Works is the leading developer and operator of agricultural waste-to-energy systems in the United States. The Company designs, develops, constructs, and operates biogas renewable energy generation systems, primarily on dairy farms. Our projects include anaerobic digesters, biogas-powered electric generation, and renewable natural gas upgrading.
Position DescriptionGoose Works (GW) is a subsidiary of Maas Energy Works (MEW) specializing in the design and development of biogas handling, compression, and upgrading equipment as well as accessory equipment used on bio-digester sites. GW is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to design and manage the process and system design of new biogas blowers, compressors, upgrading skids, and upgrading hubs. This equipment will collectively handle biogas compression, chilling, water removal, CO₂ removal, H₂S removal, gas analysis, measurement, and all other industrial processes required to upgrade biomethane to a pre-determined specification that permits injection into natural gas pipelines or compressed trailers.
The Process Engineer will collaborate with MEW project engineers, MEW project development project managers, vendors, fabricators, field installation team and construction managers, and other stakeholders to develop process and system design prior to construction and to confirm proper installation and operation in the field during system commissioning. Additionally, the engineer will provide support to operations as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing industrial gas handling equipment, a strong understanding of system optimization, and the ability to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability of our designs.
