The Operating Room Tech is responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining the sterile field during the case, and providing the surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on‑job training with a minimum of three years experience (surgical setting preferred).
• Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General, and Plastics).
• Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialty surgical areas (e.g., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro, etc.).
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

The current compensation range for this role is $28.84 to $39.93 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection.
