Job DescriptionExciting Opportunity for Experienced Pharmacists!
- 10-hour shifts with varied start times of 5:00 AM, 7:30 AM, and 10:00 AM.
- Every other weekend commitment required.
- Opportunities for day and evening shifts.
- Unit Information:
- 267 inpatient beds & 100 outpatient services.
- Pharmacy operates 24/7, with a supportive team in place.
- Certifications Needed: BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Patient Care:
Work with diverse patient populations including NICU, pediatrics, adults, geriatric, and oncology patients. - Pharmacy Features: 2:1 tech to pharmacist ratio (per CA Law). Utilize Cerner for EMR and Omnicell for dispensing cabinets.
- Experience
Required:
Pharmacy residency and/or BCPS preferred. Experience in Oncology infusion centers is a plus. No new graduates, must possess a valid California Pharmacist license. - Orientation & Support:
Floor-specific orientation provided to ensure a smooth transition. Charge nurse and IV team available.
