Senior Manager, HR Technology & Digital Transformation

Your Role

The People & Engagement Technology team is a critical member of the IT Applications organization and is responsible for providing technical and functional leadership for multiple HR Technology products in the Corporate Platform. It provides product and system solutions to support digital transformation, automation, application security, regulatory compliance, and end‑user support. The Senior Manager, People & Engagement Technology will report to the Senior Director, People & Engagement Technology.

In this role you will be a strategic leader that is solution‑driven and results‑oriented and will work collaboratively across the enterprise to evaluate vendor solutions, design, build, and implement technology solutions, and manage and enhance deployed applications. The ideal candidate will also bring expertise in AI‑driven HR solutions, technical integrations, and emerging HR technology trends to enhance automation, analytics, and overall HR technology strategy.

• Requires a college degree or equivalent and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, including 4 years of management experience.
• Requires an understanding of Human Resources functions and business processes.
• Requires experience with Workday. 5+ years of HR Technology development, configuration, and optimizing experience.
• Experience with Service Now, JIRA, Confluence and other technologies preferred.
• Significant experience leading large, complex, enterprise‑wide products and system implementations that have strategic importance to the organization is strongly preferred.
• Critical thinker with the ability to develop multi‑year product and technology roadmap and innovative solutions.
• Demonstrates a strong bias for action, delivering measurable outcomes with urgency and accountability while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Ability to lead through influence, manage stakeholders, and serve as a leader across People & Engagement projects.
• Advanced knowledge and skills including technical or functional expertise, business acumen, risk management, delegation skills, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience with building high‑performance teams by providing guidance, coaching, and training to team members.
• Excellent verbal / written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills.

• Workday Expertise:
  Advanced knowledge of Workday HCM, Security, Reporting, and Integrations.
• Integration Tools:
  Experience with APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and middleware platforms (e.g., Mule Soft, Workday Studio).
• AI & Automation:
  Familiarity with AI/ML applications in HR (e.g., predictive analytics, chatbots, intelligent workflows).
• Data Management:
  Strong understanding of HR data models, data governance, and data privacy regulations.
• Analytics & Reporting:
  Proficiency in Workday reporting, dashboards, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Cloud & Security:
  Knowledge of cloud architecture, SSO, and security protocols (SAML, OAuth).
• Project Management:
  Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
